INDEXING & ARCHIVING

The Journal of Innovation and Development (JID) is committed to the dissemination, discoverability, and long-term preservation of scholarly research. Through open-access publishing, the journal provides a platform for academic communication and is progressively developing its metadata management, indexing, and digital preservation arrangements.

01 / INDEXING & DISCOVERABILITY

Indexing and Scholarly Discoverability

JID aims to enhance the discoverability and accessibility of published research. Following publication, articles and their associated information will be made publicly available on the journal website, including full-text files and essential metadata such as titles, abstracts, keywords in Chinese and English, and author information. These records provide a foundation for scholarly searching, literature discovery, and research dissemination.

As a newly established academic journal, JID is progressively developing its publication metadata management and scholarly dissemination channels. The journal intends to pursue indexing opportunities and applications to relevant academic databases in accordance with their respective selection criteria and requirements.

The journal will list only indexing services and databases for which inclusion has been formally confirmed. Verified indexing information will be published on this page as it becomes available.

02 / DIGITAL ARCHIVING & PRESERVATION

Digital Archiving and Long-Term Preservation

The Journal of Innovation and Development uses the Open Journal Systems (OJS) platform to manage and publish scholarly content. Published articles and their associated publication records will be maintained and displayed on the journal website. Readers will be able to access previously published research through the journal's issue archives.

The journal recognizes the importance of maintaining the integrity and continued accessibility of digital publications. It intends to progressively improve website maintenance, file backup, and recovery procedures to reduce the risks associated with system failures or unexpected data loss.

For long-term digital preservation, JID plans to evaluate independent preservation services, including the PKP Preservation Network (PKP PN), subject to publication requirements and technical readiness. Details of the preservation arrangements and verified archiving status will be made available after implementation and confirmation.
